Staying at The Westin Singapore for Free with Points

Hotel & Accommodation Reviews

Why I Chose The Westin Singapore

I chose The Westin Singapore mainly because of its excellent location and easy access to major attractions.
From the hotel, I could easily walk to Marina Bay Sands, and I often enjoyed exploring the area on foot.

One memorable experience was walking while watching the construction of the new Marina Bay Sands building. Seeing Nepali workers involved in the construction made the walk feel dynamic and reminded me how international Singapore truly is.

Although the hotel is located directly in front of an MRT station, I mostly used Grab, a popular ride-hailing app in Singapore, so I didn’t take full advantage of the public transportation access.

Location and Accessibility

The Westin Singapore is located in the financial district, making it convenient for both sightseeing and business.
With Marina Bay Sands, the Merlion Park, and downtown areas within walking distance, the location is ideal for travelers who enjoy exploring the city on foot.

For those who prefer public transportation, the MRT station right in front of the hotel is a big advantage.

Executive Lounge and Family-Friendly Features

The Executive Lounge at The Westin Singapore does not allow children under 12 years old.

However, the hotel offers family rooms, which makes it a good option even for families traveling with children.

A great feature is that guests can take food from the lounge and enjoy it by the poolside, allowing for a more relaxed dining experience.

The high ceilings and open layout of the hotel create a spacious and comfortable atmosphere throughout the property.

Breakfast at The Westin Singapore

Breakfast at The Westin Singapore was one of the highlights of my stay.

The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of international dishes, including Western, Asian, and local Singaporean cuisine.

The Singapore-style laksa was especially delicious and is highly recommended.

Another unique feature was the fresh honeycomb, where guests can scoop honey directly from the comb and enjoy it in its natural form.

Room View and Hotel Services

The room offered a city view, which was calm and pleasant.

This is the view from the window.

Laundry service is available at the hotel, but the price is relatively high, so I decided not to use it during this stay.

Amenities: What You Should Bring

It’s important to note that facial cleanser, toner, and lotion are not provided as amenities at The Westin Singapore.
If you use these regularly, it’s best to bring your own.

The hotel does provide the following amenities:

  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Body wash
  • Body cream

It wasn’t that bottled water was provided every time; instead, we refilled water from a drinking-water tap.

Was Staying at The Westin Singapore Worth the Points?

Overall, staying at The Westin Singapore for free with points felt like an excellent use of points.

The location, comfort, breakfast quality, and overall atmosphere made this stay very satisfying.

I’m very glad I chose The Westin Singapore, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a point stay in Singapore.
